#2300 "Singleton Altocumulus Nocturne"

This is a twilight sky from 9 pm on August 13th, 2019. I had this memory in my back pocket ready for an overcast, cold winter day. The day arrived at 9:45 am on Tuesday December 17th, 2019. The heavy snow was just to the south on the warm conveyor belt side of the deformation zone. It was only going to be about a half hour before the heavy snow arrived at the lake.
A day in the studio in front of the wood fire was most pleasant after chilling my hands the previous afternoon.

There are many colours in the twilight of a beautiful sunset. They are subtle but I tried to do them justice. The altocumulus were neatly partitioned like in an egg carton. The two bright porch lights glared brightly from the west shore of Singleton. The eastern shore was dark.
