The morning light was fleeting for sure. This was the second rough panel after #2136 "Agawa Cloudy Sunrise". The Huntsville artists were not yet up so I painted on. I guess I am a morning person. I fade early in the evening and sometimes the afternoon is not very energetic either.
I turned to look southward. This is the view toward Montreal River Harbour and the Lake Superior Provincial Park Addition. Highway 17 cruised along the shoreline further to the south. The clouds had changed and it was a different landscape. The winds were still very strong and created streets of turbulent stratocumulus in this skyscape. That was a band of what looked like nimbostratus on the southern horizon. Batchawana Bay was around the corner from the point on the horizon. The waves were crashing on Agawa Beach. We were all alone and the campground was virtually empty except for us artists.
