#2158 "Dumoine Secret Waterfall"

There was a forest waterfall on the eastern bank of the Dumoine River at the Ledges Pool. The waterfall was just a steady trickle in August but I bet it is substantial in the spring. One could not hear the waterfall over the roar of the rapids. The waterfall diverged as it tumbled over the lip of the rocky ledge.

The afternoon sun was still hot. Thunderstorms were likely to develop again. We (Mark Patton and I) had planned on being back to the DRAW Camp by 6 pm but we were typically an hour late according to our sunrise estimate.

These smooth slippery surfaces forces the artist to observe the colour, mix it, lay it on and leave it alone. Sometimes it works.
