#0162 "Climbing the Ladder in Schomberg"

A homemade ladder at the side of the Brydon's Barn in Schomberg caught my eye. It was a very cold and windy day during the winter of 1986-87 and I was out for a stroll all by myself. As I painted my daughter thought that there should be a cat up in the loft...so I put one in modeled after a cat owned by friends in Nova Scotia. The barn was dismantled by the Mennonites on April 4th, 1995. I do hope that the hand crafted ladder survived.

I do not mind heights but I am not interested in climbing any corporate ladders.
